About the Author
Joe Palumbo grew up with profound genetic hearing loss and dyslexia, and often struggled in school. After leaving in the 10th grade, he attended a two-year trade school and spent more than 30 years learning the building trades from patient craftsmen and contractors.
Today, as a father and lifelong builder, Joe writes books to encourage kids to believe in themselves and find their own way to learn and grow.
"My First Book of Carpentry" is the book Joe wishes he'd had when he was starting out — a straightforward, no-nonsense guide built on decades of real-world experience.
